Viv has attended many art classes and workshops.
Her watercolour paintings have been displayed in numerous art shows, competitions and galleries, including:
Gallery on the Bridges (Saskatoon)
Gallery on the Roof (Regina)
Chapel Gallery, (North Battleford)
Saskatchewan Showcase of the Arts (Weyburn)
and the Moose Jaw Art Gallery and Museum.
She has received several awards at juried shows and at Saskatoon Exhibition Fine Art Competitions.
Viv has won in Provincial Adjudications and her paintings toured the province with
OSAC's "Saskatchewan Art on the Move" program.
Viv took part in Moose Jaw's "Prairie Arts Festival" in 2005 (display at Java Express)
and in 2006 (display at Temple Gardens Mineral Spa)
Paintings were chosen by Conexus Credit Union for their 2005 and 2007 calendars and by SGI for their 2006 Brokers' calendar.
Although Viv enjoys many aspects of art, her real love is painting with watercolours.
She believes the visual arts can "speak" to us and in her paintings tries to express what she sees, feels and thinks when she looks at the world around her.
