This site has been set up to showcase what we've done, explain who we are and provide other information to people invited to view it. As we are not doing business on the internet per se, you may consider this site as our electronic business card.


ABOUT OUR PORTRAIT STUDIO:

    To the best of our knowledge we are Moose Jaw's first all digital portrait studio.  We take portraits with a digital camera against a chroma-key background, then transfer the images to computer. Selected poses can be extracted from the original background and placed on custom backgrounds. We also shoot against white or black backgrounds as required or requested.
    In any case we make it a point to brighten eyes, whiten teeth and generally show our subjects in their best light. We can also remove unsightly blemishes, wrinkles and to some degree even weight. We have many techniques and effects at our disposal.We also have many repeat customers.

ABOUT OUR PORTRAIT PRICING:

$25.00 session fee is a one time charge per photo session which includes:
consultation
set up 
in-studio time
selection session
disc storage

$20.00 creation fee is applied to each pose selected for processing which includes:

image transfer
format conversion
the selection process
making minor enhancements
touching up small flaws as needed
cutting out of the subjects as needed
background placement and fitting as needed
finding and placing additional elements if available

The creation fee covers about a half hour of work which is usually sufficient.
More extensive work is charged at a rate of $60 per hour computer time.

ABOUT OUR HOURS OF OPERATION:

    We are open 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm but we take an hour for lunch around 1:00. When we first opened we were taking lunch at noon but soon found it was very hard to get away since most downtown business people would come to see us on their lunch hour. We have better luck getting away at 1:00 but not always, so we apologise in advance if we're late getting back by 2:00.
